The Seattle Seahawks (8-7) take on the Chicago Bears (4-11) on Thursday Night Football in Week 17. Kickoff from Soldier Field is set for 8:15 p.m. ET (Prime Video). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NFL odds around the Seahawks vs. Bears odds, and make our expert NFL picks and predictions.
The Seahawks dropped their second straight with a 27-24 home loss to the Minnesota Vikings Sunday. The loss put them outside of the playoff picture as they trail the LA Rams by a game in the NFC West. QB Geno Smith threw for 314 yards, 3 TDs and 2 INTs. RB Kenneth Walker III had 8 carries for 31 yards, but he sustained an ankle injury that will keep him out of this one.
The Bears were dropped by the Detroit Lions 34-17 Sunday for their ninth straight loss. QB Caleb Williams had an impressive box score with 334 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs, but it mostly came when the game was well out of reach. He has 3,271 passing yards on the season, which is 6th in club history. He has a shot at Erik Kramer’s franchise record of 3,838 set in 1995.

Seahawks at Bears picks and predictions
Prediction
Seahawks 24, Bears 17
Moneyline
While I look for Chicago to get creative on offense to help Williams break the single-season passing record, the Seahawks have to win to stay alive in the playoff race.
They’ll run the ball down the Bears’ throats with RB Zach Charbonnet and get it done. This price is far too high, though. Instead, ZACH CHARBONNET OVER 66.5 RUSHING YARDS (-115) is where I’m focused, especially with the weather forecasted that you’ll read below.
Against the spread
I’ll take the SEAHAWKS -3.5 (-110). The hook is a little troublesome for me, but Seattle should dominate with its ground game and win by a full score.
Over/Under
It’s slated to be 44 degrees with rain in the forecast. The Seahawks will look to run the ball and dominate time of possession. Just 3 weeks ago, Charbonnet ran 22 times for 134 yards and 2 scores against the Arizona Cardinals. I look for another one of those kind of games, and this one is going UNDER 42.5 (-110).
