[autotag]Josh Emmett[/autotag] continued his rise as a featherweight title contenders in the UFC on ESPN 37 main event when he outworked Calvin Kattar to emerge with a narrow victory.

Emmett (18-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) had his hand raised for the fifth consecutive fight Saturday when he left the octagon with a split decision win over Kattar (23-6 MMA, 7-4 UFC) in a grueling five-round battle at Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

After the fight, Emmett called for a title shot against the winner of the UFC 276 co-headliner between champion Alexander Volkanovski (24-1 MMA, 11-0 UFC) and former champ Max Holloway (23-6 MMA, 19-6 UFC) on July 2 in Las Vegas.

Should Emmett be the guy to get that shot, though? Or does another matchup make more sense for him at 145 pounds?
