Sean McVay shares injury update on Rob Havenstein for Week 11

Rams RT Rob Havenstein is dealing with an ankle injury and it doesn’t sound likely that he’ll play this weekend

The Los Angeles Rams sorely missed Rob Havenstein in Monday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins. He was sidelined by an ankle injury suffered in Week 9, causing him to miss his second game of the season.

Before practice on Wednesday, Sean McVay shared an update on his big right tackle for this week’s game against the New England Patriots and the outlook isn’t great. McVay told reporters that it’s possible Havenstein will play, but it’s “probably less likely than likely.”

That’s a clear indication that the Rams may be without their starting right tackle for the second straight week, which is bad news for Los Angeles.

Havenstein won’t practice on Wednesday, nor will his replacement, Joe Noteboom. McVay said Noteboom is dealing with an ankle injury of his own and will not practice on Wednesday, either.

If both Havenstein and Noteboom miss Sunday’s game, it’ll be Warren McClendon Jr. starting at right tackle.
