Seahawks Week 1 inactives: Six players ruled out

The 12th Man will have to wait at least a week to see the No. 5 pick in the 2023 NFL draft

The Seattle Seahawks are set to take the field this afternoon for the first time in 2023. They will begin their regular season campaign against the rival Los Angeles Rams.

Unfortunately, the 12th Man will have to wait at least a week to see the No. 5 draft pick in action. Devon Witherspoon has been officially declared inactive. The only positive to that is the Seahawks secondary is deep, and they won’t have to contend against Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who was recently placed on injured reserve.

Seahawks Inactives:

Devon Witherspoon – CB

Kyu Blu Kelly – CB

Jamal Adams – SS

Anthony Bradford – G

Ben Brown – G

Tyreke Smith – LB

Rams Inactives:

Stetson Bennett – QB

Zach Evans – RB

Kevin Dotson – OL

Warren McClendon – OL

Desjuan Johnson – DE
