Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is well known for saying you cannot win the game in the first or second quarter… but his team is off to quite the strong start.
The Seahawks currently lead the Los Angeles Rams 13-7 at the half. Seattle scored on their first three possessions, but only found the end zone once. Fortunately for them, wide receiver DK Metcalf made quick work of a Rams secondary missing Jalen Ramsey.

The Seahawks defense has been struggling a bit, but they are keeping points off the board, thanks in part to plays like this on special teams. Jarran Reed wasted little time making an impact in his first game back with Seattle.

Regrettably, Seattle was unable to capitalize as kicker Jason Myers missed his first field goal of the game/year on the ensuing possession. However, the Rams missed another field goal just before the second quarter expired.
Los Angeles will get the ball to start the second half when both teams return from intermission.
