The first place Seattle Seahawks are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. They will look to expand their win-streak to four when they take on the Arizona Cardinals.
Seattle is taking on their first divisional rematch of the year, having faced Arizona three weeks ago. In recent history the Seahawks have struggled at home against Arizona, but this was not the case in their meeting earlier this season. Seattle absolutely bullied the Cardinals start to finish in a 19-9 suffocating victory. The defense swarmed Kyler Murray and company, holding them to a season-low three points while also racking up six sacks and recording two turnovers.
Now the Seahawks travel to a stadium where they’ve had great success against the Cardinals, having won seven of their last ten games in the Valley of the Sun. Over the past three weeks the Seahawks defense has been absolutely lights out, ranking among the top teams in the league during this span.
However, Arizona will have a weapon they didn’t have last time – Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins – who was still serving a suspension during the first game. Having Hopkins in the lineup is enough to make the Cardinals a much deadlier threat and they will likely put up a better fight. However, Arizona is still a disjointed team with a serious lack of harmony between their head coach and their young quarterback.
I like Seattle’s chances to continue to build their first place lead in the NFC West.
Prediction: Seahawks over Cardinals 28-23.
