The next phase of the Seattle Seahawks’ 2023 offseason program begins this week, as players report to mandatory minicamp June 6-8. The last time we did a roster update was coming out of rookie minicamp, but the team has made some changes since then, including re-signing cornerback Artie Burns and giving him Russell Wilson’s old No. 3 jersey number. Three days ago the team made a couple more transactions, signing two new players to add to their competition at cornerback and releasing two others. Then on Friday Seattle waived former Chargers nose tackle Forrest Merrill.
