Seahawks to wear All Navy for Monday Night Football

The Seahawks are 64-25 in these all time, and haven’t worn them since Week 1 of this year.

The Seattle Seahawks are gearing up for a crucial Monday Night Football to break their current four-game losing streak. It will be an uphill climb, especially since their opponents will be the reigning NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

But before we can discuss the game further, the most important bit of news has dropped: the uniform combination of the week. Seattle announced which threads they will be wearing in primetime, and it’s back to the basics for them: their regular all blue uniform.

Given the Seahawks’ dominance at home and proclivity to wearing these as their usual uniforms at Lumen, it’s no surprise Seattle has had the most success in these threads. The Seahawks are 64-25 all time in this combo.

Interestingly, Monday night will mark only the second time Seattle has worn the all blue combo this year. They wore these in the Week 1 opener, and have not returned since. Instead, their home games have featured the throwbacks, the Action Green, the regular away uniform, and the blue/gray combo twice.

With only one prior appearance, and soon to be two on the year, 2023 is unquestionably the season with the lowest amount of times the team has worn this combo. In fact, the next fewest times worn has only been five times in a season.

Personally, I think this is one of their strongest looks, and I have missed seeing them in action. I love how versatile the Seahawks uniforms are and how many combinations the team can rock. But there is something to be said about the (modern) classics.
