FORMER Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has now publicly responded following the news that he has been traded to the Denver Broncos.
On Tuesday, the Seahawks and the Broncos agreed in principle to a blockbuster deal sending Wilson and a fourth-round pick to Denver in exchange for two first-round draft picks, two second-round draft picks, a fifth-round selection and three players: Drew Lock, Noah Fant, and Shelby Harris.
By Wednesday morning, Wilson had waived his no-trade clause and passed his physical in the Mile-High City to wrap up the deal.
He then tweeted a short and sweet message to his fans in the Emerald City:
SEATTLE, I Love You.
Forever Grateful.
