Seahawks lead Saints 19-17: First half highlights and recap

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: the Seahawks are in another wild game.

Another week, another wild game for the Seattle Seahawks. What’s new?

The Seahawks have gone down to New Orleans and are taking care of business early, as they lead the Saints 19-17 at the half. Seattle started the fireworks early with a 50-yard touchdown strike to DK Metcalf.

The Saints put up a valiant effort in the first half themselves, with a strong showing from running back Alvin Kamara and utility quarterback Taysom Hill, who has two touchdowns.

Hill’s second score of the game to put the Saints up 17-10 came following a disastrous fake punt from Michael Dickson.

However, the Seahawks wouldn’t go into the half quietly. With New Orleans driving for some potential points before intermission, Kamara fumbled the ball which was recovered by Tariq Woolen.

Seattle quickly took advantage of New Orleans’ mistakes and cashed it in for a touchdown. Geno Smith found Tyler Lockett for a 35-yard strike, his first score of the season.

The Seahawks will receive the ball to start the second half. Keep following Seahawks Wire for in-game reaction and analysis.
