Seahawks Greg Olsen, Quinton Dunbar could be activated for Week 15

Seattle Seahawks tight end Greg Olsen and cornerback Quinton Dunbar could be activated to the 53-man roster for Week 15 against Washington.

The Seattle Seahawks might have to clear out a couple of spots on the active roster this week to make room for two players who could be returning from injuries.

Tight end Greg Olsen and cornerback Quintin Dunbar could be activated in time to face the Washington Football Team in Week 15.

“Both those guys have a chance and they’ve positioned themselves where we’ve gotta figure it out here all the way up,” coach Pete Carroll said during his weekly Friday interview on KIRO Radio.

Olsen, who tore his plantar fascia just one month ago, was just designated to return to practice on Wednesday . . . way ahead of schedule.

“I’m really fired up about Greg’s recovery,” Carroll continued. “Was just remarkable that he came back so fast and he did so well in returning, so we’ll see how that goes.”

Dunbar, who returned to practice from injured reserve after battling a lingering knee issue, could also be available for Sunday.

Carroll will speak to the media later Friday afternoon following the team’s walkthrough.
