The Seattle Seahawks have lost one of their rotational defensive lineman for the next month. The league announced that defensive tackle Al Woods has been suspended four games under the performance-enhancing substances policy.
The suspension takes effect immediately, so he will miss his team’s Week 16 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
He will not be eligible to play the final two games of the regular season and up to two playoff games the Seahawks are in.
He played in all 14 games so far this season, starting five times. He had 32 tackles, one sack and two fumble recoveries. He had two tackles in the Seahawks’ 27-10 win over the Cardinals in Week 4.
