Love is clearly in the air in Seattle for Seahawks linemen, on both sides of the ball. At the end of June, Seattle’s first round draft pick Byron Murphy II became engaged to his girlfriend. Now, it seems he is not the only big man in the trenches taking his relationship to the next level.
On the other side of the ball, second year center Olu Oluwatimi recently got married! The Seahawks’ official Twitter account announced the big news, and was retweeted by Oluwatimi himself.

Last season, Oluwatimi only started one game at center. It was the Week 7 game against the Arizona Cardinals, and one the Seahawks claimed a 20-10 victory in.
In limited roles, Oluwatimi proved himself to be a capable NFL starter. Perhaps he will see an increasaed presense this coming season thanks to his head coach Mike Macdonald. Although Oluwatimi and Macdonald were never Wolverines at the same time, it’s not hard to envision a scenario where the Michigan connection proves strong.
But for now, let us celebrate the happy couple. From us at Seahawks Wire, congratulations!
