The Seahawks got several players back at practice yesterday, including Dee Eskridge and Rashaad Penny. They’re still not 100% as we get closer to the start of the 2021 season, though.
Wide receiver Tyler Lockett has been working off to the side at practice the last few days. Coach Pete Carroll told the media yesterday that he’s dealing with a groin injury and the team is “being careful” with it.
Tyler Lockett, again working alone 60 yards from the #Seahawks offense today. Third practice on a row I’ve noticed that. Pete Carroll says Lockett has a groin injury and the team is being careful with it.

Lockett posted a career-high 100 catches last season to go with 1,054 yards adn 10 touchdowns. He’s a crucial part of Seattle’s offense, so going slow with his recovery at this point in the calendar is the right call. Don’t expect to see Lockett in Saturday night’s preseason game against the Broncos.
