Scott Forbes sounds the siren for Carolina Hurricanes

UNC Baseball manager Scott Forbes sounded the siren for the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night.

UNC baseball manager Scott Forbes had at least a day to soak everything all in and relax following the Diamond Heels win over NC State to capture the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship. And before his team gets set for the Chapel Hill regional later this week, Forbes had some fun at the Carolina Hurricanes game.

Forbes was the honoree to sound the siren ahead of Game 7 between the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night. Before each home game, the Hurricanes bring in guests to sound the siren and get things started as it’s become a tradition for the franchise.

Check out Forbes giving all his effort in this one:

Forbes isn’t the only UNC coach or player to sound the siren this year as Hubert Davis, and  Brady Manek have done it as well earlier this year.

While the Hurricanes lost Game 7 and saw their season end, it was a great experience for Forbes especially doing it in NC State’s home basketball arena.
