San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama puts up 25 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 blocks in back-to-back tilts

It was one of many firsts from a rookie we have seen from the French phenom this season.

We all knew that San Antonio Spurs rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama was going to be good when he got to the Association, but few among us were expecting the level he is already at as a player. Sure, we knew he would need some time early in his rookie season to find his NBA legs, but truth be told it did not require all that much time to do so.

Now, the French forward has done something no rookie has ever done before on the court. Wemby is the first rookie player in the history of the league to have back-to-back games with a stat line of at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and as many blocks.

He did it on contests vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Indiana Pacers recently, and we would not be surprised if another such outing is not long in the making.
