The New Orleans Saints have made a move that people have been dreading, with star cornerback Marshon Lattimore heading to the injured reserve.
Lattimore, in his seventh season, got injured at the end of the game against the Minnesota Vikings. It was known that it would be a couple of weeks before he’s back, but injured reserve was up in the air. Now, he’ll miss at least four games with his earliest possible return being against the Los Angeles Rams. The Saints also listed star receiver Michael Thomas on the injured reserve earlier this week.
As we saw earlier this season, Alontae Taylor is likely to stay in the nickel position with Paulson Adebo and a depth player handling the corners. Isaac Yiadom is probably the name you will see called upon for the spot.
