There have been a lot of changes this spring between free agency and the NFL draft, and the New Orleans Saints’ roster already looks much different going into 2024 than they did just a few months ago to close out 2023.
Right now, there are 91 players on the offseason roster — 90 of them under contract, including a roster exemption for Irish kicker Charlie Smyth, plus one unsigned draft pick in Kool-Aid McKinstry. So while the Saints will have to eventually cut down to just 53 players at the end of training camp (with some returning to fill out the 16-man practice squad), at the moment they’ve met their 91-man capacity.
