The Sacramento Kings (31-39) play the second game of a back-to-back at FedExForum with the Memphis Grizzlies (37-33) Friday. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Kings-Grizzlies odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
The Kings were making the playoff race interesting, winning seven of their last 10 games and going 7-3 against the spread but their hopes ended Thursday with a 116-110 loss to the Grizzlies as 8.5-point road underdogs.
Memphis is locked into the play-in tournament. They’re the 9-seed and can still overtake the eighth-place Golden State Warriors, which would give the Grizzlies two chances to clinch a playoff berth.
The Grizzlies won five of their previous six games but went just 3-3 ATS in those contests. Memphis is going for the season sweep after winning the first two meetings.

Kings at Grizzlies: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Grizzlies 116, Kings 112
Money line (ML)
Neither team seems motivated for this game but because of Memphis’ injury issues throughout the season, its backups have more continuity and are even used to starting games.
Both are going to be without significant contributors and the Grizzlies are resting up for the play-in tournament, but this intel is already baked into the line and bookmakers still give Memphis the edge.
Slight “LEAN” to the GRIZZLIES (-160) for a quarter unit because who knows how either team is going to play Friday.

Against the spread (ATS)
PASS because I’m just going to use my Kings-Grizzlies budget on the money line rather than fuss with the points.
Over/Under (O/U)
“LEAN” to the OVER 224.5 (-110) for a half unit because both teams play at a top-10 pace and Sacramento has the worst defensive rating in the Association so even Memphis’ backups can get buckets.
Also, this is a “fade” of the market that’s just blindly hammering the Under given all the missing firepower between both teams.
That play makes sense but my instinct is to “fade” a market that has 92% of the money on the Under, according to Pregame.com.
