The 2020 NFL Draft is just days away and the Seattle Seahawks have been busy taking care of a few housekeeping issues ahead of the league’s premier event.
Seattle had two roster transcations officially post on Monday afternoon – offensive lineman Kahlil McKenzie resigned with the Seahawks and cornerback Ryan Neal inked his exclusive rights free-agent tender.
Neal entered the NFL out of Southern Illinois when he signed with the Eagles in 2018. He was cut shortly thereafter and was picked up by Atlanta where he spent one season before he was waived.
Like McKenzie, Neal first joined the practice squad last Septemeber where he remained until he was promoted to the 53-man active roster for the final three weeks of the year.
He logged his first and only career tackle Dec. 22 against the Cardinals.
The Seahawks will undoubtedly look to continue to add to their defense in this year’s draft, which is set to take place this Thursday through Saturday.
