The NASCAR Cup Series arrived at Martinsville Speedway, and you couldn’t make up what happened. Tyler Reddick, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, and William Byron made the Championship 4, but how did we reach that point. Well, let’s start with the race winner of the Cup Series race at Martinsville, who put up a clutch performance when it mattered the most.

[autotag]Ryan Blaney[/autotag] won the 2024 Xfinity 500 at Martinsville, winning his third race of the season and clinching a spot in the Championship 4. Blaney was able to pass Chase Elliott with almost 10 laps to go and pushed his advantage out while chaos happened behind him. Bell and Byron tied for the final transfer spot, but NASCAR ruled in Byron’s favor despite manipulation on both sides.

Bell rode the wall in Turn 4 while Chevrolet intentionally held back to give Byron a spot in the Championship 4. It was full of drama that no one in NASCAR could have expected, but Reddick, Logano, Blaney, and Byron will all fight for a Cup Series title at Phoenix Raceway next weekend.
