The Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team is at a crossroads.
After starting the season with three consecutive nonconference wins, the Scarlet Knights suffered three consecutive losses against imposing Big Ten opponents Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State.
Now sitting at 3-3, Rutgers is looking ahead at some winnable games on the schedule — beginning with Saturday’s game at noon EDT against Northwestern (2-3) in Evanston, Illinois.
Rutgers quarterback Noah Vedral has thrown for 1,122 yards and six touchdowns with three interceptions through six games. Running back Isaih Pacheco leads the Scarlet Knights with 314 rushing yards. Wideout Bo Melton leads the team with 253 receiving yards.
