With the start of the 2023-2024 women’s college basketball season only weeks away, Rutgers fans can start marking their calendars. On Thursday, the Big Ten released the regular season schedule, which included 18 total games for Rutgers. While the Big Ten had released Rutgers’ conference opponents at the end of June, Thursday’s release includes the dates of those games.
The Scarlet Knights will begin their season on December 9, welcoming the Big Ten defending champions Indiana to Piscataway. They will then go on their first road trip of the season, featuring matchups with Northwestern on December 30 and Purdue on January 2.
In January, the Scarlet Knights are set to take on Ohio State, Penn State, Illinois, and Michigan. They will finish the month at Mike Jersey’s Arena with a matchup against Michigan State on January 30.

During February, the Scarlet Knights will be tested, as they have a two-game homestand after a trip to Ann Arbor. That will feature matchups with Minnesota on February 13 and Wisconsin on February 17. They will end the month with a two-game road trip that includes stops at Maryland and Michigan State.

When the regular season is in the books, the 2024 Big Ten women’s basketball tournament will return to Minneapolis for the second consecutive season. The tournament will held at the Target Center from March 6-10.
