Rutgers final game of the regular season is getting the noon kickoff treatment. The Big Ten announced on Saturday that Maryland at Rutgers on Nov. 27 will be at noon.
The game will air on the Big Ten Network.
It could well be a pivotal game for Rutgers (5-5, 2-5 Big Ten) as they look to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2014. The Scarlet Knights need one win to be locked-in for a bowl game.
The Scarlet Knights have won two of their last three games, coming off a 38-3 win at Indiana over the weekend. But they face a tough game at Penn State on Saturday.
Maryland is also 5-5 (2-5 Big Ten) and has gone through a tough part of their schedule. They face No. 6 Michigan on Saturday.
The Terrapins have had a brutal stretch of games against quality opponents, losing five of their last six games. The average margin of victory in those five losses has been by 28 points.
Rutgers and Maryland have both beaten Illinois and Indiana this season.
