Following a weekend win over Michigan in Big Ten action, Rutgers men’s lacrosse is up in the rankings and once again ranked top 10 in the nation.
No. 9 Rutgers moved up three spots from the week prior. The Scarlet Knights are 8-3 (1-2 Big Ten) on the season.
With the loss on Friday, No. 15 Michigan is 5-5. They moved up one spot from the week before.
The game on Friday night was an impressive win for Rutgers, despite their second half collapse. Up 9-4 in the third quarter, Rutgers was forced into overtime. After winning the opening faceoff of overtime, Shane Knobloch scored 38 seconds into sudden-death for the Scarlet Knights to get their first Big Ten win of the season.
Four Big Ten teams are in the top 10 of the rankings with six in the top 25:

- No. 5 Penn State
- No. 8 Johns Hopkins
- No. 9 Rutgers
- No. 15 Michigan
- No. 18 Ohio State
