Russell Wilson in 2nd place at +500 odds to win 2020 NFL MVP

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson finds himself in second place in MGM’s 2020 NFL MVP race behind Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is in the prime of his career and has been in the NFL MVP conversation in three separate seasons. He has yet to win the award for himself, but he enters next season as the runner-up favorite to win it.

Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes enters the 2020 season as the favorite to win MVP, which he did in his first full season as a starter in 2018. Mahomes currently holds +400 odds at BetMGM and is also the MVP favorite in the Westgate Sports Book with 4-1 odds. Wilson comes in behind Mahomes with +500 odds, followed by Ravens quarterback and 2019-20 regular season MVP Lamar Jackson at +600.

Wilson has repeatedly said that winning another Super Bowl is more important than anything else in terms of accolades and achievements. However, some have been clamoring for Wilson to get proper recognition for years in the form of an MVP award, and he may just do so in 2020.
