Wilson has been out since the third quarter of Week 5, when he hurt his throwing hand hitting Aaron Donald’s helmet during his throwing motion.
The injury broke an impressive streak of 149 straight games played for Wilson in the regular season. During the time he was out, Seattle went 1-2 with Geno Smith as their starter.
At 3-5 on the season, their position could certainly be better. However, the bottom of the playoff picture in the NFC looks ripe for a comeback by Seattle.
