For months, many Los Angeles Lakers fans have been waiting for Russell Westbrook to be traded. They believe trading for him last summer was a disastrous decision.
Despite concerted efforts by the team to do so, nothing has come close to happening on that front.
With the start of training camp approaching, it is starting to look likely that Westbrook will be a member of the Lakers when the new season begins.
However, he has done something that could signal a trade is near.
Westbrook reportedly put his Los Angeles home up for sale, and it is going for an exorbitant amount.

Of course, this could also mean nothing is imminent in terms of a trade. About a year ago, LeBron James sold a house he owned in Brentwood, but he recently signed a contract extension to remain with the Lakers through at least the 2023-24 campaign.
