The running back position is one that the Kentucky Wildcats seem intent on addressing for 2025. On Tuesday, Bo Jackson announced that the Cats were in his final 12 schools. On Wednesday, fellow 2025 running back Marquise Davis put the Wildcats in his final ten.
Davis is a 6’0″, 190 lbs running back out of Cleveland, Ohio. He is rated four stars, and is ranked inside the top 200 overall by 247sports. He’s the 13th ranked running back in the class.

Kentucky originally offered Davis in June of 2022, but he has had many others since, including some top programs. He’ll be making some visits this summer, with Kentucky being one of them. The Wildcats will host him on June 14th.
Joining Kentucky in Davis’ final ten are many of the same teams courting Bo Jackson: Michigan, Ohio State, and Tennessee among them. Like Jackson, Ohio State is the current favorite, but that could change as the Buckeyes running back room changes.
The Wildcats have always been a team that wants to run the ball, and will try to add some quality ball carriers to the roster. Adding Davis would be a really nice get for Mark Stoops and Vince Morrow.
