Rugby player does impression of a horse in hilarious interview that goes off the rails

You have to see this English rugby player’s hilarious match preview that is going viral.

Harlequins rugby player Joe Marler delivered a bizarrely delightful preview of his team’s weekend matchup against Bath – which included an impression of a horse – and the clip is quickly going viral on social media.

Harlequins fell last weekend to Clermont Auvergne by a score of 53-21, but Marler explained that the team is going to get back on the horse and, uh, swim to victory.

“I wasn’t hurting as much as the lads who were out there, but I definitely felt it and I know how hard the boys have taken that. They will be disappointed with the account that we put out…”

This is where the interview takes a sharp turn and a legend is born.

“… But we have got another week to get back on the horse, you know, and take that horse to the water. And you can ask that horse, you can say ‘hey, horsey, do you want to have a drink, or do you want to swim?’ It’s up to that horse to then realize what he wants to do in his life.”

We are all the horse at the watering hole.

“That horse, at the moment, wants to go out on Saturday, he wants to clippity-clop all the way to The Stoop and he wants to say ‘hello’ to those fans.”

Marler then breaks into a very serious horse impression.

“And he goes ‘I’m sorry about the result last week, but I’m going to give a better performance here at home against Bath.’ He’s a slightly Irish horse. So we are looking forward, like I say, to getting back on that horse.”

Marler, however, will not be riding the horse.

Interviewer: “And are you looking forward to getting back on the horse? Six months since we last saw you.”

Marler: “I don’t like horses. I can’t ride.”
