Roy Hibbert on why Boston’s Jayson Tatum is his 2024 NBA MVP

Not everyone thinks he is slipping in that hardware race.

While some midseason struggles have put All-NBA Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum behind the eight ball with regard to being in the mix for the NBA’s 2024 Most Valuable Player award, not everyone sees him as in the back of the top ten contenders for MVP this season.

One such analyst is former Indiana Pacers big man Roy Hibbert on a recent episode of his eponymous podcast. The Georgetown alum believes that Tatum is the best player to win the award so far this season, and pointed out some reasons why on his podcast. Hibbert is currently a player development coach with the Philadelphia 76ers, making it all the more surprising he is endorsing Taco Jay given fellow 2024 MVP candidate Joel Embiid is part of that organization.
