While Morant fell to third on our Power Rankings, it hasn’t been a result of poor play but rather some improved performances from a few others. Morant is averaging 18 points over his last four outings and you would have to go back to Jan. 22 for the last game he didn’t score in double figures — a span of 13 consecutive games.
Morant is the leading candidate for the Rookie of the Year award and there is likely nothing Zion Williamson can do to wrangle it away from him.
