Rookie Wire Power Rankings: Ja Morant leads before the All-Star break

Rookie Wire takes a look at the top rookies through the latest week of the 2019-20 NBA season.

Shout Out to…

Jordan McLaughlin, Minnesota Timberwolves:

With the Timberwolves struggling this season, McLaughlin has come on strong as of late. Over his last five games, the two-way rookie is averaging 11 points and six rebounds, while converting on 55.8% of his shots from the field.

Cody Martin, Charlotte Hornets:

Martin scored a career-high 13 points on Feb. 3 and nearly topped that mark the next night in his first start with 12 points. He is currently in the concussion protocol program after suffering a bloody nose on Feb. 4 but could be a player to watch over the second half of the season.

Cameron Johnson, Phoenix Suns:

The sharp-shooting Johnson has had an up and down rookie campaign but reminded everyone on Monday night that he can still fill up the highlight reel.
