Rookie Wire Power Rankings: Ja Morant leads before the All-Star break

Rookie Wire takes a look at the top rookies through the latest week of the 2019-20 NBA season.

2. Zion Williamson, New Orleans Pelicans

Stats: 21 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists

Last Rank: 3

Williamson returned to the lineup on Tuesday after sitting out one game due to a sprained ankle and did not miss a beat. He became one of just four players in NBA history to have a 31-point game at the age of 19, joining LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Luka Doncic. Williamson has scored at least 20 points in five straight games, the most by a rookie this season. If he continues this pace, there could be a serious discussion to be had for which player deserves to be named the Rookie of the Year.
