Before he suits up on the court to make his debut with the Golden State Warriors, 2023 first-round pick Brandin Podziemski tested out his throwing arm on the mound in San Francisco on Thursday.
Prior to the San Francisco Giants series finale against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday, Podziemski took the bump to throw out the first pitch at Oracle Park.

Podziemski provided good luck to the red-hot Giants as they ripped off their third straight win over the Diamondbacks, 1-0. Lamonte Wade Jr. blasted a solo home run in the fourth inning for the only run of the game.
With a win over the Diamondbacks, the Giants trail the Dodgers by two games in the NL West, but they are sitting in the top spot in the National League wild card race with 2.5 game advantage.
The Giants will next travel to Oakland for a series against the Athletics starting on Saturday.
