The Washington Football Team received some good injury news on Friday when head coach Ron Rivera told the media that wide receiver Curtis Samuel would be active on Sunday.
Ron Rivera said WR Curtis Samuel will be active Sunday in Atlanta.

Samuel, who initially injured his groin in the spring, missed almost all of training camp with the injury. When he aggravated the injury in mid-August after his activation from the physically unable to perform list, he worked on the side for the remainder of camp. He was placed on injured reserve just before the season.
When Samuel was placed on IR with a designation to return, Washington had three weeks to determine if Samuel could be activated or remain on IR for the season.
Samuel has practiced each day this week, gradually increasing his workload.
It remains to be seen what type of role Samuel will have on Sunday, but Rivera said it would likely be all or nothing for the wide receiver this summer. If he can play, he will play with no limitations.
I would expect Washington to use Samuel in specific situations on Sunday, and he splits time with Dyami Brown and Adam Humphries in his first game back.
