Romeo Okwara’s 2021 season is over way too early. But the Lions top pass rusher is already focused on getting back on the field as soon as he can after undergoing surgery to repair his Achilles tendon.
Okwara took to Instagram and offered up an optimistic post where he also thanked the fans for the outpouring of well-wishes after his injury in Week 4.
Okwara posted with the comment,
“Getting surgery in a couple days… Hate that my season was cut short and I can’t be out there with my teammates, but I’ll be back better than ever.. Big thanks to everyone that reached out.”
