Roman Reigns TikTok account banned, continuing his awful start to July

Roman Reigns got pinned at Money in the Bank, then lost his TikTok account. Coincidence? Probably, but still.

When it rains, it pours, even for the Tribal Chief.

On Saturday at Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns was on the wrong side of the Bloodline Civil War. Not only did he and Solo Sikoa lose to The Usos, but Reigns himself took the pin, something that hadn’t happened in a WWE ring since 2019.

Then later this week, in a classic case of kicking someone while they’re down, Reigns had his TikTok account (which has over 1 million followers) banned.

Why? Well, as Dexerto explains, it’s unlikely that Reigns’ account broke any of the social media platform’s rules that could get him booted for good. In those cases, TikTok usually posts exactly why the account is permanently deleted.

Instead, it’s possible that there was a violence flag against @romanreigns due to, you know, it posting clips of professional wrestling. That’s still violence, even though it’s scripted.

The guess is that Reigns will be a bit more upset about losing the Bloodline Civil War than the fate of his TikTok account, but it’s just another stroke of misfortune for someone who usually is on top of the world.

(And hey, he still has his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, which isn’t too shabby.)

It’s not like things will necessarily improve for Reigns in the immediate future either. For this Friday’s SmackDown in Madison Square Garden, WWE is promoting a “Trial of the Tribal Chief” segment, where he’ll apparently have to answer to The Usos instead of the other way around. Hopefully he’ll at least be able to shoot clips to post on TikTok by then, but we’ll see.
