Tennessee senior third baseman Trey Lipscomb went 3-for-5, recording two home runs, five RBIs and three runs.
Lipscomb has recorded 15 home runs, 57 RBIs, 40 runs and 50 hits with a .370 batting average in 36 games this season.
2011 Heisman Trophy quarterback Robert Griffin III reacted to Lipscomb’s fifth inning solo home run in Sunday’s series finale against Alabama.
“Trey Lipscomb with the bat flip,” Griffin III said on Twitter.
Griffin III played at Baylor from 2008-11 before being selected No. 2 overall in the 2012 NFL draft by Washington. He played for Washington, Cleveland and Baltimore during his NFL career.
