You would think Rob Gronkowski’s WWE career is over until he retires from the NFL again, after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded for the former New England Patriots tight end.
Think again.
Gronk won the 24/7 title belt at WrestleMania 36 earlier this month, and the WWE tweeted its congratulations to the tight end on his return to football. But he was also warned that he had to defend his title “at all times in any location.”
Gronkowski himself noted in a Bucs video that now is the perfect time to keep his title with social distancing and isolation happening. But he also said, “everyone’s coming for me.”

Congratulations to @RobGronkowski, the current WWE 24/7 Champion, on his return to football.
Per the rules of the 24/7 Title, Gronk must defend his championship at all times in any location. He could be celebrating a touchdown pass from @TomBrady… anytime, anywhere.

A prediction, based on the WWE tweet: one of Gronk’s teammates will end up pinning him during a touchdown celebration and take the title belt. Count on it.
