RJ Young ranks UCLA 74th

The Bruins land at 74.

The UCLA Bruins might be in for a difficult season. DeShaun Foster is a first-time head coach and they made the tough move to the dangerous and talented Big Ten Conference.

RJ Young of Fox Sports ranked every FBS college football team, and the Bruins landed at 74 on the list, right above Big Ten opponent Northwestern.

Here’s what Young wrote regarding the ranking:

DeShaun Foster followed his hiring with one hell of a hire for himself in offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, who not only helped develop Patrick Mahomes into the NFL’s best QB on the NFL’s best team, but won a national title as a star tailback at Colorado.

Young has Ohio State, Georgia, Texas, Oregon, and Florida State as his top five, so a pair of Big Ten teams make the list.

UCLA begins with a road game against Hawaii, one which they should win.
