RJ Davis is having a career year in his fourth season with the UNC basketball program here in the 2023-24 season.
Entering this game, Davis has been North Carolina’s best player this year, leading the way on the scoring end for them. He’s not only played like the favorite to win Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year but he’s in the running for the national award as well.
And on Monday night in the Dean Dome against Wake Forest, Davis put himself in the North Carolina record books.
With multiple three-pointers in the game, Davis now has the record for most consecutive games with multiple three-pointers with 16. He passed Justin Jackson who had the previous record 15.
Davis has broken UNC’s record for most consecutive games with multiple three-pointers.
He’s at 16 games straight, Justin Jackson was the previous record holder at 15.

While Davis and the Tar Heels got off to a slow start, he got hot at the right time as they used a big second half to grab the lead and get another double-digit win on Wednesday.
With Davis playing like this, the Tar Heels are proving that not only are they the top team in the ACC but as one of the best teams in the entire country.
