So much Michigan State recruiting news to cover, so little time. The Spartan’s basketball program will lose an absolute stud in Guard Cassius Winston next season but might just get the perfect replacement in 5-star Guard Karim Maine, out of Montreal, Quebec. Note, the Spartans are all-in on bringing Karim to East Lansing.
Rivals contributor Corey Evans was asked whether or not Michigan State will get any extra Guard help for the upcoming season. He mentions that while Karim Maine announced for the draft, there is still the possibility of attending college.
Here is the entire answer below:
“The five-star Canadian has entered his name into this summer’s NBA Draft, but unless he receives the proper feedback, I expect Mane to attend college in the fall. There is always a chance the G League comes calling, but if college is in his future, I believe that MSU will be the program he chooses.”
Evans states that if Michigan State misses out of Maine, there is still the possibility of adding a Guard to the backcourt.
