[autotag]Ricardo Dias[/autotag] added a nasty flying knee knockout to his highlight reel in the co-main event of LFA 107.
After a scramble-heavy opening round, which saw leaping heel hook attempts, tosses, and reversals, Dias (10-4) entered Round 2 with a dominant Round 1 turned in. His opponent, [autotag]George Garcia[/autotag], proved to be durable until a hard right hand dropped him early in Round 2.
As Garcia (9-5) scrambled to his feet, he was met with a vicious flying knee from Dias, who sprinted several feet to connect a fight-ending blow. The knee was close, but a replay showed the timing was impeccable – barely within the legality of the rules. The official stoppage came at 0:25 of Round 2.
With the victory, Dias has won three fights in a row and six of his most recent seven. Meanwhile, Garcia has lost back-to-back fights following a five-fight winning streak.
LFA 107 took place Friday at Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. The main card streamed on UFC Fight Pass after prelims on Facebook.
