RFK Racing will field a third car in the Daytona 500 for David Ragan under a program called #Stage60.
A former Jack Roush driver, Ragan will drive the No. 60 Ford Mustang. It is a number the organization used to run in the Xfinity Series, winning a championship with Chris Buescher. But it will be making its debut in the NASCAR Cup Series, with BuildSubmarines.com sponsoring Ragan’s effort.

“The 60 car represents an opportunity for us to honor our past and look forward to the future of RFK Racing,” said RFK Racing president Steve Newmark. “We’re thankful to have partners like BuildSubmarines.com, who, like us, have a mission to grow and be best in class in all endeavors.”
Ragan drove for Roush from 2007 through 2011. He won the summer Daytona race with the organization in 2011. The 37-year-old has made 476 starts in the Cup Series but none since 2022, when he ran four races with Rick Ware.
Roush has not fielded three cars since 2016. The team became a two-car effort in 2017, which it remains today with Buescher and co-owner Brad Keselowski.
“It’s really exciting to be back in an RFK Ford,” said Ragan. “I spent some of the best years of my career driving for Mr. Jack [Roush] and the team at RFK. They really gave me my first opportunity in the sport and I have to thank BuildSubmarines.com for helping make this happen. We had a really strong run going in my last year at Roush at the 500, and hopefully we can go back and finish what we started.”
#Stage60 will run additional races in 2024 that will be announced at a later date.
