RFK Racing teases No. 60 car as a third entry for the 2024 Daytona 500

RFK Racing teases the No. 60 car as a third entry for the 2024 Daytona 500. Which driver should RFK Racing put in the No. 60 Cup car?

On Monday morning, [autotag]RFK Racing[/autotag]’s old No. 60 Xfinity team X account posted a message that suggested an announcement would be coming on November 29th, 2023. At first, it appeared to be a possible revival of RFK Racing’s old NASCAR Xfinity Series program; however, more details have been released as the account posted another message.

The No. 60 team account revealed a silhouette of a driver walking toward the camera with a caption of “No. 60 DRIVER LOADING…#DAYTONA500.” This obviously suggests that RFK Racing is planning to enter a third entry into the 2024 Daytona 500. Without a charter, it would be one of the open entries that need to qualify for the event.

Who could be driving the No. 60 Cup car at the 2024 Daytona 500? What about former RFK Racing driver David Ragan as he has won at Daytona International Speedway in the past? Ragan competed in three Daytona 500 events after not having a full-time ride before 2023. Yet, a possible return to the driver’s seat wouldn’t be shocking for the former driver.
