RFK Racing addresses a potential return to NASCAR Xfinity Series

RFK Racing addresses a potential return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the first time since the 2018 season.

[autotag]RFK Racing[/autotag] has been one of the major headlines during the 2023 NASCAR season as the organization has seen plenty of success on the race track. Chris Buescher won three races during the regular season and that has translated to playoff success. Buescher and Brad Keselowski made the Round of 12 and sit in a position to advance to the Round of 8 right now.

However, there could be even more opportunities down the line if this success continues. Keselowski was asked about a return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series by Fronstretch as the organization looks at expansion in the future. The co-owner of RFK Racing did not rule it out.

“I would say we wouldn’t close the doors on anything,” Keselowski said. “It would have to be the right opportunity that I think makes sense for us and for whatever partners we would have. You know, I think we’re pretty open-minded to growth as a whole, as long as it’s responsible growth and serves all the parties. That’s what it takes to be sustainable.”

“So, you know, I would never say never, but there’s nothing imminent at the moment.”

The organization hasn’t been in the Xfinity Series since the 2018 season but it would be great to see a return overall. The new developments within RFK Racing have proven that it can change the trajectory of a race team so it might be worth the effort for the Xfinity Series. If so, RFK Racing’s footprint in NASCAR could grow back to where it was in the past.
