Revised Colorado win total after win over TCU, before USC game on Sept. 30

If you asked #Pac12 experts how many games they are adding to Colorado’s win total, what would you expect to find?

A lot of pundits felt Colorado would be a 3-9 team this season. Now, after the win over TCU, the Buffaloes are likely to win more than three games. The real question: How many more games?

We asked a panel of Pac-12 football experts what their vevised Colorado win total is for 2023 after CU’s upset of TCU.

Here we go:

Matt Wadleigh, Trojans and Buffaloes Wire: I picked Colorado to lose, admittedly, but a small part of me said I wouldn’t be surprised with a win. I had them at 6-6, and I think maybe a 7-5 record is realistic and a bowl game.

Zachary Neel, Ducks Wire: I’m not ready to drastically change my projection for Colorado just yet. Give me one more week of evidence that they are a good team. Maybe they become bowl eligible; maybe TCU is awful.

Matt Zemek, Trojans Wire: I think I will go from 3-9 to 6-6. CU beat TCU, which I wasn’t expecting. I think CU beats Nebraska, which I didn’t pick before the season. CU should pick off at least one more Pac-12 win than I was previously projecting. A bowl season for Colorado would be an amazing achievement, and it seems the Buffs are well on their way.
