Reuben Unije transfers to UCLA football

Big boost to the OL.

The UCLA Bruins football program is trying to replicate the basketball program with some transfer portal success. DeShaun Foster and UCLA have reached out to a large number of talented players during the Spring transfer window.

However, they got a big commitment from former Houston OL Reuben Unije on Saturday, as he made the announcement on his X page.

Unije surely caught some attention by Wuote tweeting Ethan Garbers’ post with a QB1 statement and then flashing some eyeballs emoji as Colorado transfer RB Alton McCaskill was set for a UCLA visit, so his landing in Westwood isn’t a huge surprise.

Unije played at Houston and transferred to Louisville previously before deciding to jump in the portal again.

Now, he gives a big boost to the UCLA offensive line in a new-look program under new head coach DeShaun Foster.

This could be the first of many transfer portal additions for Foster and UCLA.
