Resident Evil Village is reportedly the most completed game of 2021

The numbers don’t lie.

Out of all the heavy-hitting games that came out in 2021, it seems that Resident Evil Village  struck a special chord with loads of people.

According to HowLongToBeat, a site dedicated to figuring out how long it takes to finish video games, more of its users finished Resident Evil Village  than any other game released in 2021. A metric that lines up nicely with statistics claiming that Resident Evil Village  was among Google’s top trending titles of 2021  as well.

Other games that managed to top out HowLongToBeat’s  list include Metroid Dread, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and It Takes Two — which won Game of the Year at the Game Awards this year.

The complete list from HowLongToBeat  is available below.

Resident Evil Village  tops around  9 hours to  finish by most accounts, so this news isn’t that surprising. Capcom was so happy with the game’s performance that it announced  free single-player DLC is in development

The series sure is on a winning streak as of late. Capcom said  Resident Evil 7  passed the 10 million units shipped  milestone in October. We also quite liked Resident Evil 4 VRwhich took home  Best VR/AR title at The Game Awards.
